“We have been very busy in Junior Infants so far this year. The children made magnificent self portraits and sparkling stars and colourful crayons to decorate and brighten our classroom.”    

Autumn leaves

First Class learned about ‘Nature in Autumn’. We learned about the different parts of a tree, ‘evergreen trees’ that keep their leaves for ‘ever’ and deciduous trees’ that lose their leaves in Autumn. We used paint and potatoes to make our leaf like prints and created our own ‘Autumnal scene’. Well done First Class.   …
