Gort National School will close early for pupils on Monday 21st of January to facilitate a staff meeting. Tubber Road Building will close at 12:20 and Convent Building will close at 12:30.
This was very enjoyable. We painted the background in shades of blue and completed the paintings using Christmas images. Snowmen, Santa, Robin, Christmas trees and penguins.
Isn’t great to see how the children are so willing to give to others in need? Well done to everyone who donated to this food appeal, giving back locally.

Pupils from 6th class got the chance to participate in a 7s Gaelic Football blitz organised by the Gardaí. 16 local teams took part and the children enjoyed the day. We played Craughwell, Northampton and Peterswell National Schools. Well done to all the boys and girls who played very well.

4th class boys and girls took part in the FAI Futsal Blitz in Gort Community Centre recently. They played matches against other local schools and a great day out was had by all.
