School Info

Gort National School was established following the amalgamation of The Convent and Scoil Eoin in September 2015. We are currently operating off a split site with Junior Infants to 3rd class in The Convent site on Queen Street and 4th class to 6th class on the Boys School site on the Tubber Road.

We are on the Governments 5 year plan for a major extension to the building on the Tubber Road. Once this is completed all pupils will be taught on the Tubber Road.

 

School Opening and Closing Times

• Opening time for all at Gort National School, Convent Building, Queen St. (Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1^st Class and 2^nd Class) is 9:00 am
• Pupils will be supervised from 8:50 am
• Closing time for Junior and Senior Infants is 1:40 pm
• Closing time for 1^st and 2^nd Class is 2:40 pm

 

• Opening time for Gort National School, Tubber Rd. (3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th Class) is 8:50 am
• Pupils will be supervised from 8:40 am
• Closing time for 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th Class is 2:30 pm
