6^th Class Heritage Workshop

Sixth class participated in Heritage School Workshop on the 13^th of October 2022. They focused on searching for living organisms in their environment. e.g. shaking different leaves on trees and seeing what different insects appeared. They also played games that encouraged them to think critically, for example the ‘Bat and Moth’ game made them think about how eco location is used by bats to find moths.

Here you will see a group work activity, in which groups worked in teams to construct a geodome in the shape of a semi sphere, minus the greenhouse effect. As you can tell, 6^th class were very busy during this interactive workshop.
